When this pharmaceutical client wanted to manufacture its new medicinal syrup they turned to DB Tech. We designed an automated, CIP-able 1500 Gallon batch making system with components sourced from around the world to provide the best quality to price ratio. DB Tech supplied the major components, including Azo Liquids homogenizers, process vessel, a compact Heat Exchanger system for Hot / Cold utilities, electrical panels, and controls.Compared to a competing system, the DB Tech system was significantly lower in cost, with better productivity.

YOU’LL SAVE ME HOW MUCH?

This client called DB Tech to overcome a bottleneck in their specialized conveying system. While getting that worked out, we mentioned how much money they could save by rethinking their cookie batter production method. They were amazed. DB Tech supplied and installed a 2000L automated batch making system from Azo Liquids to produce the batter. The system replaced 4 small floor mixers that were running constantly throughout the day. The new batch system was designed to keep a crust from forming on the single daily batch, while the automation, CIP system, and new powder and liquid dump stations saved the client countless hours in production and clean up.
In another project for this client DB Tech advised on conveyor options for additional further expansion.
DB Tech is currently developing a batter transport system for this client.

HOW DO WE DO IT?

This client developed a great chip type product but was having difficulty separating it after cooking and preparing it for seasoning. DB Tech’s shaker table/conveyor now separates the chips and transports them onto trays for easy processing. The quick release, sanitary conveyor belt was an innovative feature the client loved.

WE NEED THIS FAST!

This client needed to start production of their new, difficult-to-produce toothpaste quickly. DB Tech personnel were instrumental in it’s successful launch, by designing key manufacturing components, such as an automated dosing system for the acid component, jacketed piping for a temperature sensitive slurry, and an automated drum dump system for a hazardous powder.
Client: personal care products producer, multiple facilities, over 30,000 employees.

NEW BUT AFFORDABLE.

NEW BUT AFFORDABLE.

This client is a new venture bakery looking for very affordable equipment to produce pitas and other baked goods. DB Tech located a suitable used system while simultaneously quoting new imported equipment.
Client: new venture bakery, due to begin production in 2016.

MAKE OUR PRODUCT LAST LONGER.

A major dairy cooperative was looking for ways to prolong the shelf life of it’s dairy-based spread. DB Tech assessed their manufacturing operations and our recommendations were well received when presented to upper management.

WHERE DO WE GET A RIBBON BLENDER?

WHERE DO WE GET A RIBBON BLENDER-

This client couldn’t find a suitable, affordable ribbon blender, so DB Tech recommended one it’s local manufacturers, and specified the blender based on the client’s requirements.
For this client, DB Tech also designed, supplied and installed custom laser-cut floor grates for a problematic high-traffic area.
DB Tech is currently developing an automated handling system for distributing unbaked single-serve pies onto baking trays.

ARE OUR SILOS EMPTY?

DB Tech solved this client’s issue by converting multiple silos to load cell measurement, allowing for very accurate mass measurement of flour. None of the silos’ existing measurement systems were accurate, meaning employees were constantly climbing ladders to check flour levels, and unloading tanker trucks would overflow the silos, resulting in expensive cleanup. Since all the silos completed were of different design and sitting on different bases, each required a unique mounting solution.
In another project for this client, DB Tech provided a plan for relocation of a conveying system to accommodate a new lift. The existing layout of box formers and bag inserts didn’t allow space for the lift, so a new layout was provided to optimize reuse of existing conveyors and building openings.
Currently developing solutions for prematurely wearing conveyor pins on in-line fryer, CIP system issues, and valve & piping improvements.
Client: bakery, established 1980’s, about 1000 employees, multiple locations

DB Tech assisted on the expansion to a new facility with the supply and installation of new equipment like an 7000L mash tun vessel, pumps, valves, a boiler system, heat exchange skid, and building improvements such as a custom DB Tech-designed sanitary floor drain system needed to handle the high-volume, high-solid-content production effluent. We also provided all the necessary tools and guidance needed to ensure factory compliance with government regulations.
